Every year I start to grow a beard then a few weeks in the itch starts and off it comes, but this year..., 19 Nov. 2017

Although I've had a lot of experience in growing beards I'd never looked into the products available for maintaining them. A few online articles had mentioned the Zilberhaar beard brush and the price was realistic for what it proclaimed to offer.

Initially I was surprised at the compact size but in reality I don't have a chin the size of Desperate Dan and the brush is ideal in shape and size to manage the hairs on your face. The bristles are firm and massage your face without scratching it and I have had no bristle loss in the week or so I have had it.

The companies ethos is good as well. There are clear instructions with the brush and an emphasis on customer satisfaction. It even comes with a lifetime guarantee which I cannot see ever being used.

Overall I am extremely happy with my Zilberhaar beard brush and really have to restrain myself from brushing my beard more than once a day. I have no beard itch, which was always a problem, and my beard looks tidy and feels...

Object of Desire, 4 April 2017

Nice brush made from lovely materials. The pearwood turns it from a daily tool into a desirable item. High bristle density gives a satisfying but smooth pull through my 5 years worth of curly/stiff Gristly Adams beard, and the bristle tips are soft on the skin. I have been trying out beard gunks to polish my woodsman look a little for tidy days, and the brush is really nice for spreading the lotions into the beard hair. It IS compact - 6 inches long, which felt a little odd at first but I got used to it rapidly; don't try to use the handle as a handle its too short, fingers need to wrap round the head of the brush. This size has the advantage of not having a long handle/head to manoeuvre around the jaw and neck. Recommended.

My first beard brush was one with soft boar bristles. As my beard was growing out it did a good job of straightening and tidying things. But four months later, I found it becoming increasingly ineffective and it just couldn't cope with longer growth.This brush is next level. I was surprised at just how stiff the bristles were, but it's necessary to tackle the tangle and work oil/balm down to the skin.The craftsmanship is excellent. It feels very solid in the hand and I can tell it'll last a long time.
