Curls hold, the best curling iron i bought so far at this price, 17 Dec. 2015

Seller deliver on time as I purchase this item from Singapore. For product, i love it. i have fine Asian hair and the curl stay till the next day even without any hair spray to hold the curl. It is very easy to use and i only need 5 minutes to style my hair consider i have quite a thick hair. Invest in good curler is really important unless you don't care about ruining your hair. This curler come with so many heat level setting and you can try to play with it and see which temperature work best for you, i personally won't set the heat to the highest. It is fairly light so it makes the styling easy and it glide through my hair like silk. My bf compliment me how soft and shiny my curl is all the time and most important i take lesser time to get ready to go out with him :) . It is hard to find babyliss hair tools in Singapore and if you found, it will be very expensive, it will cost at least 200 to 300 SGD which is around 100 to 150 pound if you buy from those reputable salon. I was looking forward to this product and I'm rather disappointed with the reality. I have tried curling my hair with it on two occasions, (one of which with quite a bit of mouse in my hair that has been blow dried dry first) and both times my hair has failed to visibly curl. For the record I have shoulder length colour treated relatively fine hair. I have tried turning the heat up (which is for thicker hair) and still it made little to no difference. On the one occasion where I did manage to get something resembling a wave, I got straight ends which made my hair look odd and I had to wet that bit and blow dry it straight again. Also the clamp that clamps the hair against the barrel isn't particularly tight so my hair kept slipping out of it when I tried winding it around the barrel.

Given I've opened this product , discarded the box and used it twice, or at least tried to use it twice, I cannot send it back so I am going to give it to my mother who has short hair -...

Lovely big long lasting curls!, 6 Nov. 2015

I really like these!Hubby bought them for me as I was complaining about my big barrel curlers that didn't hold a curl and these are holding the curl much better!These are perfect for ladies or men I suppose who have longer hair as the barrel is so big.I like a loose curl for an average day so these are great and you can use more hair than the smaller barrels.Curls stay in all day too. I previously uses the pink tresemme which I've passed to my daughter. I'd had them 3 years so it was time for some new ones!
