A convenient wand to both highlight and conceal, 20 Sept. 2016

I quite like this 2 in 1 wonder wand but I'm not in love with it.

Concealer

To start with it only comes in one shade which is great if that shade happens to suit your skin tone but not so great otherwise. However, it does work extremely effectively as a base cover underneath makeup, particularly on blemishes and red areas such as those around your nose. This is not a product that I can use without make up as the colour difference between my skin and the concealer is quite noticeable, but then a little make up is never a bad thing.

Highlighter

The highlighter is a pretty clean shade of white that will add a good highlighting quality to any skin tone. It blends in with makeup effectively and does not look overdone in any way, rather it produces a natural effect of light radiating from your skin. I'm not convinced that is any more effective than other highlighters but it is pretty convenient when paired with the concealer.

Combo concealer and highlighter- design limited unless you use both parts equally, 9 Oct. 2016

The Bagsy products are nicely presented, in cardboard outers with jazzy patterns. Makes them look special when given as a gift.

The product is quite chunky easy to hold. It's encased in plastic so no sharpening required, twist the base to get at more product.

The concealer is on one side and the illuminator on the other. If both are the perfect colour and you use them at the same rate then this is a good combination, but for many that wont be the case, and then you're having to waste one product to get at more of the other. Using the pencil end on you can get a mix, which could help if the concealer is too dark, but this is quite hard to do consistently. I think the product would have been better designed with a colour at each end, not sure then how one would twist it up, might have to be sharpened instead.

The ingredients are on the box not the primary package and include in the concealer: octyldodecanol, nylon-12, ethylhexylpalmitate, candelilla...

2 in 1 but a bit more fiddly, 2 Oct. 2016

I'm not one for the 'contouring' fad, however I do wear concealer and I use a highlighter on special occasions. Having both in one product sounds like a good idea.It comes packaged in a very pretty little box. I've never heard of this brand before but it seems they have a range of products.The concealer is what I used first and as expected it is a little dark on my fair skin. I find using a bit of the highlighter on the top helps with this.The concealer is good enough but I prefer the MAC concealer I use. This is a bit fiddly using one side of the crayon. Also the concealer is probably the bit I'd use more so not sure how this crayon will end up looking!It's handy for your handbag for a touch up or for travelling. I still prefer a separate concealer and highlighter. It's not too bad a price for the quality.
