Nice on the skin, but no magic fat-bullet, 12 Mar. 2017

I am old enough and (still) chunky enough to know that rubbing oils, unguents and potions into one’s skin will not melt away fat. The manufacturers of this lotion know it too, for they state it plainly on the bottle, ‘not a weight or fat loss product.’ So, what is it for? It contains ‘energizing extended release caffeine, and a cool burst of mint oil’ for massaging into those pesky problem areas ’as part of your body-bettering routine.’ They also helpfully suggest it is used ‘in conjunction with regular exercise, a healthy diet, regular vigorous massage and the rest of the bliss fabgirlslim® regimen.’ Well - I certainly agree with the first two pieces of advice. In my considerable experience, the only way to lose blubber is to eat less and do more - usually a great deal more. Massages and products such as these do not (never have, probably never will) do anything to help. They really are a waste of money.

It's not at all unpleasant, quite the contrary. The lotion - a sort of gel...

Save your money. It has no effect., 14 Feb. 2017

This product has a disclaimer on the bottle stating it's not a weight loss product. It's slightly ambiguous as to what it actually is then but I've dutifully tried it as instructed, twice a day for just over a week now. If I hadn't committed to the review of the product I doubt I'd have got past the first couple of days.I don't like the feel of this product on my skin. I find it to be an irritant (although I've not had an active reaction) the smell is quite clinical and doesn't endear itself to be smeared over your belly. Ive not seen any changes to the area it's been used on and for the price of it I'd be very wary. Definitely not a product I'll be maintaining and certainly not one I'd recommend to friends and family.

I think you probably have to use this product regularly over a long period to see an effect, if there is an effect to be seen. Problem is, I don't find it pleasant enough to use to persist. It has a very strong antiseptic minty smell that is (to me) off-putting. And while I did sense a "tightening" feel on application, it's the same tightening feel I get when my skin is under-moisturised. Not for me I'm afraid.
