Excellent brush for contouring, 31 Mar. 2016

This is an unusual shaped make up brush which is designed for using when contouring.

The handle is wooden and has a smooth lacquered finish. The handle is quite short which actually makes it really easy to use due to the shape of the brush.

What makes the brush unusual however is that the bristles are very short and approximately 4cms in width. The ferrule (metal tube holding the bristles to the handle) has been "squashed" for want of a better description to allow the bristles to cover a wider area. It is the width of the brush that makes it perfect for contouring.

As I mentioned the bristles are synthetic so they are suitable for sensitive skin and are very soft, they are also easier to clean than natural hair and will last a long time if looked after. When I first received the brush I gave the bristles a gentle tug to see if any bristles came out - none did. On using the brush again there was no shedding. When washing your brush use...

This is a fantastic contour makeup brush and blender sponge set the brush is made from good quality materials the handle from wood the bristles are synthetic fiber.The bristles and the wooden handle are connected together by a metal tube the bristles feel very soft on your skin whilst using the contour brush the brush is lightweight and very comftable in hand.The blending sponge is brilliant great for blending foundation what I like about this is how your able to get into every crevice on your face giving a more natural look.Also I find with the sponge you don't loose or use to much of the foundation it doesn't absorb the foundation in it stayes on the surface of the sponge optimising the amount used.I was offered this in exchange for a honest review.

Very good brush. It has a nice stubby rounded handle which is easy to hold.The brush has thick, short, very soft hairs. It is great for putting on blusher as it is just the right shape for my cheeks. It blends well too. I did try it with face powder but although it did the job I much prefer the longer looser bristles for that job. The hairs don't splay and so far there has been no loss of hair. It is not too long and I can get it into my makeup bag easily. It comes with a little sponge that is a run of the mill product and I have quite a few of them. I usually use for liquid makeup as I can get into all the crevices that old age brings. It does have a strange smell and I have sat it on my window sill with limited success.
