My eyes were becoming irritated with high street brands and as I try to exclude chemicals in household and personal goods, I decided to give this a whirl. I had used a Lavera mascara years ago and was disappointed. However, this one is great. If you want big bold lashes, you have to build up in layers and you will always have a natural look as opposed to false lash length. But the lashes feel silky, no clumping. Yes, if you rub your eyes, it smears a litte, but that's a small downside. My eyes no longer itch and I feel I can apply mascara every day, even several coats. Good sized tube so I think this represents great value for money.

What a Shame., 6 Aug. 2014
I bought this mascara, then I was so disappointed learn that Laverana, the company, will be exporting into China. It is compulsory that any company that sells cosmetics in China, pay for its products or the ingredients contained within, to be tested on animals. That means that companies that have been cruelty free for years, will no longer be so.What a pity.I have discovered that M & S own brand products are not tested, and they are conveniently on the high street.

I was very surprised by how good this mascara was. At first it seems like its too subtle, not volumising enough, but just keep building coats. The best thing about it is that it doesn't clump at all, looks really natural, yet long and thick lashes. Didn't get an allergic reaction to it, easy to take off. I think its better than mac, benefit, maybelline, clinique and rimmel. Just don't buy the eyeliner.
