How To Use
After removing your konjac sponges from their package, placing in warm water allowing the sponge to absorb and grow. You will see a substantial growth in the konjac sponge as it absorbs water. Remove from water and gently press between palms to remove acesss water. It is important to remember not to twist or wring out the sponge as doing so might damage the root fibers. Once the konjac sponge is damp and expanded you can use either alone or paired with your favorite facial cleanser or scrub. Disinfect sponge with hot water and then hanging konjac sponge from its attached string in a place free of direct sunlight and excessive humidity.

This is the first time I've seen a Green Tea variety of Konjac sponge. This one contains Green Tea Powder which is ideal for use on problem skin as it is a natural antibacterial. What gives this sponge the advantage over the others is that it has 2 hooks included so I can hang it up after use, I've never seen these included with the sponges before and it is so much nicer to hang my sponge up rather than just leaving it on the side of the bath. It is also lower in price than other Konjac sponges I have purchased online.
Unlike the other varieties, this sponge does have a slight odour to it which I assume is the Green Tea. It has that gorgeous Konjac texture which buffs and gently exfoliates like no other sponge leaving skin perfectly smooth, clean and glowing. I love how it cleanses my skin without the need to use product and, unlike facewash, it does not leave my skin feeling tight or dry after cleansing. I am no stranger to Konjac sponges but I had never tried the green tea variety of sponge so was keen to try the pureGLO sponge. It arrived nicely boxed and in a bag with two surprise hooks too that are fixed to the tiles around the bath or shower with a sucker cup. This helps dry out the sponge between uses with plenty of air drying.
The sponge is quite hard when you first take it from the packaging so you have to completely immerse it in water to soften it up. To use, you just rub it over your skin and it provides cleansing and a pleasant light exfoliating action for your skin. I love using this sponge as it is such a natural way to cleanse skin and it removes any dead skin so leaves you glowing after use. It is particularly great if you have a break out as it will gently remove any sebum and oils and won't scratch or aggravate your face. The green tea treatment will also help clear out the skin too afterwards.

I have really sensitive skin so am really careful about what facewash I use, I often find that my face feels dry/stretched after washing my face with soap.
I have used products from pureGLO in the past and know they are always great in quality, I therefore ordered the pureGLO Purest Konjac Facial sponge, as it was the first time I’m using a facial sponge I ordered the original instead of one of the other ‘flavoured’ ones.
The sponge arrived in an eco-friendly looking box which contained the sponge and two hooks which can be stuck to the tiles in the bathroom to hang up the sponge after use.
The sponge feels quite rough when you first take it out but becomes really soft when wet. I found that the sponge gently exfoliated my skin leaving my face feeling really clean afterwards.
